Greenlife COVID-19 Prevention Policy
At Greenlife Wholesale Nursery we are committed to the wellbeing and safety of our clients, our employees and our community. During this unprecedented time, we want to assure you that we will be continuing to serve you and that the nursery will be open on Monday, 27 April and expect to be fully stocked by 4 May.
As our staff cope with many of the same concerns and challenges you face such as school closings, family needs and work challenges, we appreciate your patience as we all adjust to this current environment. In accordance with the Ministry of Health and Federal Government directives, we would like to share our best practices that have become operational standard for the nursery whenever you visit. In this way we hope to keep us all protected and safe. Our team is available anytime to answer questions or concerns.
Order pick-up (previously placed by email, phone or text)
- Staff will meet you when you drive into the yard
- Clients and staff to maintain a minimum distance of 2m apart at all times
- Staff will tell you which bay number contains your order
- You will be asked if you would like to check your order and will be handed a packing slip for reference
- Once the order is checked, you will need to return to your vehicle as staff load plants. A final check of plant count will be done
- Staff will go to the office to process the order and you will be asked to sign for the plants
- Regrettably, clients are not permitted in the office at this time
- We highly recommend that you make arrangements to pay prior to arrival at the nursery, via e-transfer or credit card
- If paying on-site, an outside ‘payment station’ will be available to process your debit/credit card
- You will be handed a receipt or, alternatively, it can be emailed directly to your office
- Regrettably the washroom is for staff use only at this time
Choosing plants at the nursery
- You are welcome to pick your own plants around the yard
- Greenlife staff are required to maintain a minimum distance of 2m
- Once your order is complete staff will count the plants
- You are requested to stand back at a safe distance
- Same process as above from #5 to #11
Delivery to your site
- Deliveries are available to your worksite
- For the foreseeable future, the Greenlife driver is unable to assist unloading plants
